Pole Star’s newly released DSAS-L provides a low-cost, reliable, and technically advanced SSAS solution. The DSAS-L is the perfect alternative for ships over 500 gross tonnes that must implement a SSAS to meet International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements in a cost-effective manner.
This announcement follows the SkyWave DMR200L’s recent passing of applicable tests necessary to meet the IMO’s hardware requirements for the SSAS market.
