SkyWave Mobile Communications designs and manufactures satellite and dual-mode satellite/GPRS communication terminals as well as provides satellite network services to enable dependable and low-cost tracking and monitoring solutions for fixed and mobile assets. We partner with a global network of Solution Providers who integrate our equipment into a broad range of industry-specific applications for the land mobile, maritime, and fixed asset tracking and monitoring markets.

SkyWave expands suite of D+/IsatM2M terminals with the DMR-800 terminal series, designed to enable new applications using the SkyWave IsatM2M network service.

SkyWave places on the Deloitte & Touche Wireless Fast 50, a ranking of the fastest growing wireless companies based on revenue growth over the past five years.

SkyWave celebrates its 10-year anniversary, establishing them as the only D+ network operator with over 10 years in operation.

September

SkyWave launches the IsatM2M service and DMR-800D terminal, offering new features and advanced capabilities to enable Solution Provider's applications with greater responsiveness.

September

SkyWave's new independently-owned network goes into operation. Network services are no longer shared with Satamatics.

June

SkyWave receives approval to operate on the Inmarsat Pacific Central (PAC-C) satellite. SkyWave is the first D+ provider to be granted authorized use of this satellite, providing extended coverage for its customers.

February

SkyWave launches the SureLinx 8100 D+/GPRS dual-mode terminal.

January

SkyWave releases the Versa Gateway to simplify terminal management, significantly reducing the risk of programming errors while accelerating application development and solution time to market.

SkyWave announces extension of its C1D2 (Class1, Division 2: "Hazardous Environment) certification for the DMR-200D terminal.

October

SkyWave awards multi-million dollar contract to Systems Engineering Division (SED), a division of Calian, for the provision of Inmarsat D+ Access Control and Signaling Equipment (ACSE).
