All products are designed for use with the trusted SkyWave D+ or SkyWave IsatM2M network services and are backed by SkyWave’s industry-leading customer service. A little bit about the role: Reporting to the CEO and Managing Director, SkyWave currently has an opening for a Vice President, Marketing.  The successful incumbent will be responsible to grow SkyWave’s business by effectively supporting sales and R&D in achieving their business goals. This will include the design and development of direct and  indirect channel management programs which will create market awareness, demand and preference for SkyWave products and services. This will be done through the development, maintenance and advancement of strategic relationships with constituencies. The successful incumbent will also be responsible for product marketing and the creation of sales tools and promotion programs for the sales teams including identifying multinational targets and initiate initial contacts, lead generation and market penetration detailed plans, and execution of such programs. In this role he/she will manage all inbound market activities and outbound product marketing activities as they conduct and analyze competitive and customer market research studies pertaining to our products and services to define market needs and drive the development strategy. They will manage all key relationships with the media and industry analysts to drive SkyWave’s global presence.  The successful incumbent will come to SkyWave as a very successful senior marketing executive with experience in all of the areas detailed above, gained from 10+ years experience working in multinational/multilingual high-tech companies. As a senior executive, they are expected to play a major role in making and implementing corporate decisions with management team peers in the best interests of the company and will therefore be required to have extensive experience in formulating and executing creative solutions to difficult issues with an entrepreneurial, customer-centric style. They bring a proven track record in executing on-time critical marketing initiatives with sensitivity to the sales, engineering development and manufacturing processes. They have a visionary aptitude of how to map a company’s product strategy and inspire the company’s efforts. The successful incumbent is also passionate about success and is recognized by their drive and ambitious nature.  Superior organizational skills and outstanding communication skills, including the willingness to voice opinions in a constructive/confident manner are a must. Candidates are also required to have outstanding orientation to details as this is a high impact and high profile position within our organization and our industry. Flexibility to travel internationally is required. The successful incumbent must have a clear understanding of GSM/CDMA/GPRS/UMTS and Satellite (mobile data) data technology issues and concepts as they would relate to SkyWave. Preference will be given to candidates that has proven track record (i.e. revenue and marketshare) in at least two of the following vertical markets: Security, Logistics and Transportation industries, Marine and Fishing industries, Technology (H/W, S/W) and Terrestrial and Satellite data communications.   Interested?
